Winter Garden explores how warmth can be generated between two bodies
in a space that is cold. Working in the fort we were welcomed by its cold, uneven surfaces and its stillness but rooted presence. This encouraged us to work with a dancing body that is bare and relying on oneself, in order to generate warmth. Each room/space in the fort had its own atmosphere; heavy walls proposed the quality of depth and open meadows guided us to work with vastness. 

'Winter garden' is a part of 'Baterija' - an interdisciplinary festival for cultural heritage taking place at the Kaunas Fortress.
